·         Cascade 220 Color No. 7829 – 1 hank

·         US F Hook

·         Tapestry Needle

·         Fiberfill

Abbreviations:

ch – chain	tog – together
Rnd – round
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
st – stitch
sts – stitches

 

Gauge:

Approximately 4 sts x 4 rows = 1”

Directions:

* Pattern is worked in the round.  Each round begins with ch 1 and ends with sl st in first sc of round to join.

Rnd 1– ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook, sl st to join rnd

Rnd 2 – ch 1, 2 sc every st, slp st (12 sts total)

Rnd 3 – ch 1, (5 sc, 2 sc in next st) 2 times, sl st (14 sts total)

Rnd 4 – ch 1, 14 sc, sl st

Rnds 5 – 24 – repeat rnd 4

* Stuff tube loosely with fiberfill.

Rnd 25 – ch 1, (5 sc, sc 2 tog) 2 times, sl st (12 sts total)

Rnd 26 – ch 1, (sc 2 tog) 6 times, sl st

Rnd 27 – ch 1, (1 sc, sc 2 tog) 2 times, sl st (4 sts total)

Rnd 28 – ch 1, (1 sc, 2 sc in next st) 2 times, sl st (6 sts total)

Continue by repeating rounds 2 – 28 until your scarf contains 16 links (or as many as desired).  End last link at round 27 by fastening off and weaving in end.
